Robert Burns Night at The London EDITION
Last night, Christopher Kane hosted an intimate gathering, celebrating the legacy of Scottish poet Robert Burns.
With glowing portraits of the Ploughman Poet adorning the walls, The London EDITION’s intimate Punch Room, set the scene for guests including Paloma Faith, Laura Carmichael and Camille Charriere who danced into the night to celebrated band Licence to Ceilidh.
Honouring the land of the brave, the band put a fresh twist on traditional Scottish tunes, combining them with a contemporary rhythm including Robert Burns' Auld Lang Syne. It was a sibling affair with Christopher Kane’s sisters Tammy Kane and Sandra Donnelly joining festivities in the Punch Room.
In an ode to Scottish tradition, the fashion-crowd enjoyed Chivas Regal cocktails inspired by Scottish traditions, past and present.
